N25 - Sarsfield Road Bandon Road Interchanges - Current Stage:

The Compulsory Purchase Order and the Environmental Impact Statement for the Scheme were published in October 2003. An oral hearing was held by An Bord Pleanála in February 2004 and the Scheme was approved in May 2004.

Contract Documents for the Scheme have been prepared by Arup Consulting Engineers. Advance works have taken place to facilitate the main Contract which includes accommodation works and service diversions. Further ground investigation works were completed in 2007.

We are currently waiting on funding to proceed towards construction stage. The estimated time for construction of the works is approximately 2 years.
