Scheme commenced in June 2018 and is now complete.
The works are located on the N20 National Primary Route, beginning at the northern extent of the N20 dual carriageway from Cork adjacent to the Blarney Business Park, and extending northwards for approximately 6.4 km to Ballymartin. The type of work involved is the removal of failed sections of pavement, subsequent strengthening of these sections and resurfacing with bituminous macadam. Works will also include site clearance, drainage and utility works, road markings and traffic management.
