The Cork National Roads Office (NRO) is a local authority shared service in collaboration with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) in respect of national roads within Cork City and Cork County. Cork County Council (CCC) have been designated by TII as the lead road authority for the administration of the Cork NRO.

N28 – UAV Surveys

Cork County Council, on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, is conducting Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) surveys along the N28 in the area of the Shannonpark Roundabout, Carrigaline, County Cork. The surveys will be carried out during working hours and, subject to weather conditions, the planned dates of the surveys are from the 11th of December to the 20th of December. UAV operators will carry identification and will be identifiable by Cork County Council branded clothing.

The surveys may inadvertently collect very limited personal data which is not retained. Transport Infrastructure Ireland processes personal data in accordance with its Data Protection Notice which is available here.
