The Cork National Roads Office (NRO) is a local authority shared service in collaboration with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) in respect of national roads within Cork City and Cork County. Cork County Council (CCC) have been designated by TII as the lead road authority for the administration of the Cork NRO.

N71 Bandon Southern Relief Road Extension – Public Consultation No. 1

The N71 National Secondary Route forms an important strategic transport corridor around Bandon and provides vital access to the West Cork area for both industry and tourism. The potential scheme proposes to free up the town centre road network for access by local traffic and to enable national road traffic to travel more efficiently.
